Wild Wild West & Animal Shows @ A’Famosa Animal World Safari

After the bumpy and windy safari truck ride, we walked a short distance to “Tombstone City”. There were fascinating and entertaining Wild Wild West show, Multi-animal, Bird and Elephant shows! If you haven't been at least once, of course you have to catch all the animal shows.

#3 It was a Thursday so it wasn't too crowded, but it was a super HOT day and I still had a smile on my face!

The set, built to simulate an old frontier town aptly named Tombstone City, was impressive in its attention to details.

#6 Apaches on horseback

The show itself was an exciting stunt and pyrotechnics show completed with realistic gunfires, explosions, fistfights and high-altitude falls. As the gallant Sheriff battled with bandits to rescue a pretty Red Indian princess, angry Red Indians rode speedy horses bareback through the dirt road.

The birds in this show were truly remarkable as well.

#34 It started with close to 200 birds flying over the crowd. Look at those tourists!

The tricks performed by multi-colored Macaws and Cockatoos were very impressive and entertaining!

#44 The show stealer was undoubtedly the Great Hornbill who swooped in from the trees and caught his food in mid-air.

#45 A troop of stately Greater Flamingos marched in unison through the stage.

#46

Elephant Show

My favorite show was the elephant show! Elephants always seem to look adorable to me. The huge but gentle mammals performed a variety of tricks including painting.
