Catalina Robayo, 22, Miss Colombia 2011The beauty queen from Colombia was among the most photographed candidates of Miss Universe 2011 in Brazil, especially after a photo of her, wearing a short dress with no underwear to conceal her modesty and revealing more than the expected.
About the incident, she said, “It was an accident. It was not the first, nor the last time it happens to me. There are other things that are more important in this competition though, so it did not affect me”. Then she complemented saying with sense of humor: “At least I learned how to sit properly in Brazil!”
Also, the Colombian beauty had been given the warning - “Don't forget your underwear” - by the Miss Universe staff and she had been reprimanded for showing up in super mini-skirts without underpants on.
The moral of the story? Wear underwear, people! That might mean reinventing your outfit for the day, but that is a small price to pay to avoid the stares. Showing your underwear is embarrassing, but having your crotch out is even worse.
