The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is one of those landmarks in KL that I've wanted to photograph for a while now. Well, last night I finally got around to doing so when we drove past this building on our way home from KL.

#3 Topped by a shiny copper dome and a 40m high clock tower, it is a major landmark in the city.
This heritage building which is located in front of the Dataran Merdeka (Independence Square), houses the offices of the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture of Malaysia. It was here, the Union Jack flag was lowered and the Malayan flag hoisted for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957.
There happened to be a group of tourists and photographers all carrying full tripods and using them openly in the streets. We don't have a wide-angle lens

Architecture is very beautiful in its own right, but it's especially stunning at night!
