Sarawak Kolo Mee @ Hock Thai Restaurant, SS2

Want to have a taste of Sarawakian cuisine without having to travel across the sea? A bowl of kolo mee or Sarawak laksa is just an order away. There's a stall in Hock Thai Restaurant @ SS2 where you can have a bowl of authentic Kuching-style kolo mee, served for breakfast and lunch!

Kolo mee (egg noodles) is a very famous hawker food and a signature noodle dish in Sarawak, which classically served with crushed garlic and shallot, minced meat and sliced char siu (barbecued pork). It's a favorite among Sarawakians and even non-Sarawakian people love it! Ralph is a kolo mee enthusiast and never gets sick with it.

Another popular Sarawakian delight you can try is none other than Sarawak laksa - spicy coconut prawn paste-based broth served with rice vermicelli, omelet strips, shredded chicken and prawns. The belacan (shrimp paste) really goes well with the laksa!

Oh, do be warned though that it does very get crowded during lunch hours so get there early!
