This is a cozy restaurant serving up local delicacies. We've been here twice so far, and I've had the same dish both times.
#3 Otak-Otak Fried Rice (RM10.90).
It was tasty, but small in portion.
It is indisputable that otak-otak originated from Muar more than half a century ago. I remember falling completely in love with otak-otak when I had it for the first time in Muar, Johor several years ago.
If you don't already know, otak-otak is a type of fish cake made by mixing fish paste with spices which include dried chili, onions, garlic, lemon grass and curry powder, resembling brain matter, hence its name. Even though the delicacy is now available in many parts of the country, they can't match the otak-otak of Muar!

It's all about reminiscing with the simple, yet memorable things they used to have. Indeed, it's yesterday once more at Otak-Otak Place!
