(“Soto” means “soup” and “Ayam” means “chicken”)
I am not a huge fan of soup-based noodles but this Indonesian version of soto ayam won me over!
My soto ayam served with shredded chicken meat, various kinds of seafood and noodles. The essence of the good soto ayam lied in its spicy-aromatic chicken soup base first, then the condiments that came together to make the delicious dish. Oh, the lime and the sambal belacan (a kind of chili paste) definitely spiced up the dish too. Ooh la la, it was DIVINE!
By far, it was the best soto ayam I have ever had.
And yes - this place is always crowded as well and you might have to wait for seats!
