Hair Dilemma

It has been three or four months since my last visit to the salon. You see, I wanted to have long, sexy, messy waves or curls, or whatever 'cause my hair was as flat as a pancake (even though I love straight hair), so I had my hair permed for the first time in my life. I know there are many different types of perms, spiral perm, corkscrew perm... hmmm, what else? The many choices can make my mind spin, so I didn't bother asking what the differences were.

The hair stylist suggested I get a water perm. Initially, it looked fine but not fantastic. However, maintaining a good and healthy curly hair is not an easy task when compared with straight hair. It also ended up looking dry and damaged after a few weeks.

Now, besides I've a head full of frizz like a lion's head, the perm is virtually non-existent, more of a wave than a curl. It is a puffy mess, has no style and is just plain, well, blah.

What's the big deal, you asked? Hair is one of the most important assets for women!

*in a dilemma* When am I not?!

Vanity. That's it.
