Dr. Bilal Philips will be visiting the United Republic of Tanzania from 17th to 23rd December 2010 on a Da'wah tour in which he will conduct various public lectures and Islamic training workshops under the sponsorship of the Muslim University of Morogoro (MUM). He will also be exploring possible academic affiliation to MUM and exchange of courses and lecturers.
During the course of his lecture tour, Shaikh Bilal will be meeting with some of the students of Islamic Online University in Dar es-Salam, on Friday 17th December 2010 from 5pm to 6:30pm and on Saturday 25th December, as well as on other occasions - in shaa Allaah. Some IOU students will be participating in the various events and promoting the IOU by explaining its goals and methods and by distributing flyers and leaflets to the audiences.
