It's already Thursday and that means the long weekend is here!

This year Deepavali falls on Friday, therefore we Malaysians have a long weekend - are you going anywhere?

Looks like I have a busy weekend ahead of me, but full of fun. I hope.

Peacock in Rangoli

Rangoli, also known as Kolam, is a form of sand painting art designed using rice flour, rice or sago. According to my Hindu friends, it is usually drawn at the entrance of Hindu homes to welcome the Hindu Goddess of Fortune Lakshmi.

With the festival of lights approaching, allow me this opportunity to wish all my Hindu friends and blog readers a very Happy Deepavali, peace to you and your family!
