Well, I was so excited that day because we were planning for island hopping!!!
The first and second time I visited Langkawi, I didn't get a chance to do the must-do or should-do activities; hence this time round mybf insisted to take me there even though he has been to these islands more than 3 times already. We chartered a boat (RM 280) for the seven of us while the rest who has been there before, looked for their own activities. A round-trip, which takes about four hours, includes Pulau Dayang Bunting, Pulau Beras Basah and Pulau Singa Besar. It was so fun and I took quite a lot of pictures. Therefore, I need to separate this post to a few parts. Two parts, maybe.First destination - Pulau Dayang Bunting (Island of the Pregnant Maiden).

#1 We took off from Pantai Tengah,

#2 which is near Awana Porto Malai.

#3 A mere fifteen minutes' boat ride from Langkawi main island to the first destination.

#4 Farzam: "Oh my god, the boat is going to hit the strong waves! OMG! *screaming* Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim...."
and non of us wanted to wear life jacket!

#5 I love it when a small amount of water splashed up onto my face and the freezing wind screamed past my face.
A nice day for me is just simply, not hot.

#6 Ralph and Farzam.

#7 Front - Vivi, Abdullah and Senjab.
Back - The boatman and Behzat.

#9 Pulau Dayang Bunting (Island of the Pregnant Maiden), is situated southwest of Langkawi island, next to Pulau Tuba (Tuba Island). It is the second largest island in the Langkawi archipelago, which is made up of 99 tropical islands.
In the centre of the island lies a large and beautiful lake called Tasik Dayang Bunting (Lake of the Pregnant Maiden) which is enclosed by forest-covered hills. It is also the largest lake in Langkawi.

#10 The outline of hills and rocky outcrops on one side of the lake resembles the shape of a pregnant maiden lying on her back.
Legend of Tasik Dayang Bunting (Lake of the Pregnant Maiden):
The favorite bathing pool of a celestial princess named Mambang Sari was said to be Tasik Dayang Bunting (Lake of the Pregnant Maiden). A prince, Mat Teja, fell madly in love with her and tricked her into marrying him. It did not take her long to reciprocate his love and so could not bear to return to her celestial home. Sadly, their child died from a mysterious illness at the age of seven days. Distraught, the grieving Mambang Sari left the child's body in the lake and returned to her heavenly abode. Today, some believe barren women who bathe in this lake will be endowed with a child. Many have claimed to be successful.

#12 Gua Langsir (Cave of the Banshee) is believed by the locals to be haunted by a banshee. There are thousands of bats that make their home in the cave and that, according to some, is the reason behind the 'haunting'.

#13 A concrete jetty facilitates boat landings.

#27 Farzam and Behzat enjoyed the feeling of the mustachioed catfish nibbling at their toes.

#28 Ralph joined the catfish foot massage.

#29 But there were NO catfish came and nibble my toes!

#30 I guess it's because of the guys were there next to me, if you know what I mean.
The freshwater lake is a great place for swimming and everyone was getting ready to jump in!

#31

#32 Farzam jumped.

#33 Abdullah jumped.

#34 A girl's getting ready to jump.

#35 Another girl was getting ready to jump too.

#36 Senjab was going to jump.

#37 Ralph jumped.

#38 Vivi jumped.
Me?
The lake is about 10-15 meter deep; 30-50 feet. So it's NOT a great place for people like me who doesn't know how to swim!

#39 But, I jumped..... to the section for children below 12 years old.

#40

#41 Middle Eastern women.

#42 Senjab and Vivi.

#43

#44 Ralph and Middle Eastern boys.

#45 oh ya, Behzat doesn't know how to swim too! LOL.

#46

We spent about one hour here. On the way back to our boat, we saw monkeys were playing around, near the jetty.
