You might have experienced or heard that hackers have been accessing secure sites including Paypal. Stories about how their PayPal accounts are being hacked even though they had antivirus or internet security installed on their computer. However, nothing can guarantee complete safety in cyberspace. These recommended cyber security practices highlight that using a set of practices that include Internet habits as well as technology solutions can make a difference.



Well, I personally feel that children at high risk due to their intensive online browsing habits and they often disclose sensitive information. But, taking some basic precautions surely will helps to minimize your exposure to risk. To increase the student's awareness of cyber security and crimes issues, ISIS Lab is organizing NYU-Poly's 5th annual Cyber Security Awareness Week (CSAW) for them to compete and win prizes in a variety of information security challenges. CSAW is a student-run information security competition that culminates with presentations by industry leaders and an awards ceremony on October 14th. Students, REGISTER NOW!
